We won't be closing our blogs after all. I've discovered (the hard way) that the best way for people to subscribe to our new weekly movies is to subscribe through their blogs rather than the main page, so we'll keep the blogs going.

Classic Cinema Online will be closing this blog permanantly starting March 7, 2008.

Please visit our main website at www.classiccinemaonline.com to view our latest foreign films.

You can access the foreign films of the week by scrolling to the bottom of the page and clicking on the "foreign films" tab.

I will be creating a special drop down menu in the menu bar so that you can access all of our current foreign films.

I will try to get a RSS feed subscription button up for you as well so you can resubscribe to the foreign films.

Welcome to the Classic Foreign Films Theater, brought to you by Classic Cinema Online.

We're still under construction, so check back with us in a few days to see how we're progressing.

Meanwhile, please enjoy the films at Classic Cinema Online.

When this blog is ready for viewing, we'll announce it at Classic Cinema Online.

We plan to have a variety of foreign films for you some with English subtitles, along with films that are American made but either dubbed or subtitled in languages other than English.

Foreign films that are dubbed with English speaking sound will still be shown at Classic Cinema Online.

Our Set Up -

Rather than being categorized by genre, these films will be categorized by their country or language. French movies with Portuguese subtitles, for example, will be categorized as French, but there will be a note on the billboard telling the language of the subtitles or dubbing.

I was hoping to have this blog ready for viewing by October 1, but it's taking a little longer to build than originally anticipated.

So please be patient with me (thanks!) and hopefully I'll have this blog ready by the end of the month.
